WatchThe EM/MPM is an image segmentation algorithm that uses texture information to identify objects in an image. This is a visualization of the segmentation process of a axial brain MRI using a version of the algorithm that I have implemented during my undergraduate research project.

WatchMy first visualization made using processing. It shows the GDP growth rate for each Brazilian state for the period 1986-2005. A bigger circle corresponds to a higher growth rate. Data from Central Bank of Brazil (note that the growth rate was unavailable for some states).
